The resume interview

Quill’s resume interview helps you describe work that your current resume leaves out. You review the facts proposed from your answers before they become part of your confirmed experience.

Start with your resume

Import your resume on the Resume page, or build an entry yourself. Check the imported text and structure. The resume gives Quill context for questions about the work behind an entry.

You can also encounter an optional interview while preparing a role. A role-specific interview focuses on missing evidence for that posting. Follow the choice shown on that page to answer now or continue with the experience already confirmed.

Answer about the work you did

Explain your part, the problem, the decisions, and the result. Include limits: shared ownership, staging rather than production, or a result you did not measure. “I do not remember” is useful information when a detail is uncertain.

You do not need a polished resume sentence. Quill can help turn a plain account into a proposed fact you can check.

Review the proposed facts

Read each proposal against your answer. Correct its wording or scope before confirming it. Decline a proposal that misstates what happened.

Confirming a fact records the experience for future work. It does not silently rewrite your master resume. Adding confirmed experience to that document is an explicit choice.

Use the confirmed experience

The fact bank holds confirmed experience that can support future role-specific resumes. Review any wording derived from it on the desk before approval and download.

See how a project answer becomes a resume bullet.

Let Quill ask about the work behind your resume.

Upload your resume. Quill asks about what it leaves out, then writes a version for each role you pick.
